The Institute was created to lead an interdisciplinary approach to researching solutions for the world’s pressing sustainability, energy and environmental needs for today and tomorrow
iSEE has been providing competitive seed funding to support interdisciplinary projects addressing current and future sustainability problems in the key areas of Climate, Energy, Agriculture, Infrastructure, and Water/Land. The Institute has also started an annual iSEE Congress aimed at bringing attention to one of the areas of interest to campus.
