Congratulations, graduates!

Over the past year, another group of outstanding nuclear engineers have left the hallways of Talbot Laboratory to journey out and make a difference in the world. To them, we extend our heartiest congratulations and best wishes for a fantastic future.

Since August, NPRE in The Grainger College of Engineering at Illinois has graduated 30 bachelor’s degree students, 13 master’s degrees, and 9 PhDs. From the Master of Engineering in Energy Systems program, which NPRE administers in the College, another 19 students have earned degrees since August.

As NPRE prepares to greet another assembly of students for the Fall 2019 semester, we look back fondly to those who have completed their degrees, with thanks for the ways they have challenged us, changed us and helped us to grow. We hope our interactions have given them the same experience.

We also encourage our new grads to keep in contact with NPRE! You can do this by providing your upcoming plans and contact information, and by joining our NPRE LinkedIn Group.

The university also asks that you share information about your post-graduation plans through the Illini Success survey. This effort qualifies recent graduates for a drawing to win a variety of prizes, including Amazon gift cards, Illinois business card holders, and diploma frames. It also provides us with critical information necessary for career and academic advising, student recruitment, and institutional reporting needs.

We are currently collecting responses for the following graduation classes:

  • August 2018
  • December 2018
  • May 2019

Hats off to our latest graduates!
