Congratulations graduates!
The academic year 2015-16 marked the first graduating classes of the College of Engineering at Illinois Master of Engineering degree in Energy Systems, while the number of Nuclear, Plasma, and Radiological Engineering students earning degrees remained steady at all levels.

A total of 8 students have earned degrees from the Energy Systems program, which NPRE administers and which was first offered in Fall 2014. From the NPRE Department, 38 students earned bachelor degrees, 11 earned master’s, and 5 earned PhDs.

Energy Systems degree earners have found jobs and internships at companies including Agco (Batavia, Illinois), the Sierra Club, General Electric, Eaton Corporation, Environmental Systems Design, Inc., and Tesla Motors. NPRE degree earners will be taking positions at companies and with institutions including Bechtel, Wolfram Research, Inc., Accenture, Epic Healthcare Systems, the U.S. Navy, Tovala, Pacific Gas & Electric, and Exelon Corporation, with others will be continuing on in graduate school, including in NPRE.
